I don't think you have to take off the bumper to adjust the gap.

I saw a BMW service guy do this to another car with a wrench on both side under the hood.
But like I said originally, I don't think it looks bad at all, but if you want to ahve it adjusted it should be an easy fix.

What I meant was to adjust the gap size between the hood and front bumper you don't have to take off the bumper to do this.

There is a rubber stop on the left and right side under the hood that can be turned to snug the hood up once it is latched closed...but it seems like the (2) latches (they latch the "hooks" mounted to the left and right underside of the hood) need to be lowered a bit so the hood has to go further down (closer to the bumper) in order to latch.
Anybody done this or know how to do it?

I would like to know how to adjust this gap on mine...it looks wider than it should. I looked and it seems that the hood just needs to close/latch down further. With the hood closed and latched, I can actually push it down a bit further to close the gap to an acceptable amount.

Mine wasn't at the hood.... it was actually the front bumper...
It needs to be adjusted upwards... not lowering the hood......
Im pretty sure about that even tho I didn't fix it yet...........

The only thing you have watch out for is getting the hood too low to be aligned with the headlights. I am in the process of raising the bumper by using the "washers under the bolts" trick mentioned in another thread on here.

Raising the bumper or lowering the hood...either way works the same as long as you maintain alignment with the other pieces...ie headlights, quarter panels, etc. You can close that gap some by lowering your hood and then some more by installing washers under the bumper mounting bolts to raise the bumper.
