hope you are OK.
wow never use the BMW jack or other wheel changing jack to do stuff on the car. itis a temp item to change wheels, not for work on the car.
alway buy a hevey duty jack and a pair of A suport too after you jacked the car up so if the jack dose brake then you still have the a suport to suport the car.

put the wheel back on and drive it around and see if you steering wheel shakes and any funny nosie.
If there is then best bet is got back to the dealer and get it checked out.

I never use the OEM jacks on cars, unless there's no other option. They are flimsy and typically should only be used in emergencies, like flat tires while on the road. I would not use it for changing out your wheels for the winter. Spend a few bucks on a good floor jack. Not only is it safer, but it's much easier!
+1

A good floor jack, jack stands, and wheel blocks are a must. I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Wow, that's scary.

Just wondering, how did your car fall off the BMW jack? Did you use the wedge? Was your car on an incline?

I'm planning to change to winter tires using the BMW jack.
my car fell because i didn't remove the top lug on the passenger side and i kinda rocked the car abit when it was jacked up there. and i didn't use a wedge.

So did you get it checked out? Was there any damage?

Did it drop on the rotor? If so, it might have bent or dinged it.
