Well, this is an over exaggeration...I think realistically I would probably trade that e60 in for an f10 at 160-170k miles or so...

That said, i'm pretty sold on the 535i! Makes more sense...that way all I need to buy is the M Tech kit and rims for it (and any special lighting/bulbs of course)!

You can't go wrong with that plan if you like to go fast, then you will need to spend money on ecu mods as well to get it up to 400hp
If you really want the bodykit, look around for a sport package one and then you can get the OEM kit right off the showroom floor.

Anyone know if I could simply change out the bulb on the US spec LCI taillights to Amber so that they look like Euro spec?

Cannot, you will have to swap out the LEDs.

I personally prefer red. To the people that don't recognize the details on these things, the amber/orange turn signals make it the same as pre-LCI.

I see...I take it that it would be easier to just sell the old LCI tails and buy a set of Hella LCI's then?
