Great future mod list - must have done some extensive research. Get ready to shed some cash.

Nice to see another super excited guy that's very much into modding. Think Justin on the board has started the trend recently, lol.

Lol. Justin did mod super fast in the past 3 months. However, I have faith in member 'MORI3L' to beat Justin's pace.

- Full LCI Bi-xenon Headlight/LCI Taillight Euro Spec Retrofit (Heres where the price might vary a bit...I'm hoping I can pull this off with $1000-$1500..don't know if thats realistic
Having just done this mod, I can give you a good estimate on costs. I got the Headlights on eBay for about $675.00 and that took a lot of negotiation and work. I bought the LCM module and Harness assembly from Tischer for $400.00 and $28.00 respectively. Hella Rear Tail lights I bought last year through a group buy at $450.00. From John at Motercepts I got a set of 8000k HID Angel Eyes to match 6000K Fogs - $220, Set of 6000K D1S bulbs - $120 and a set of 6000K Fogs for $120.00. If we total it up we are looking at $2,013.00. If you choose not to swap the bulbs then you could take $460.00 from the cost and be in around $1,553.00........Having said all that, if you have Adaptive Headlights you may have to buy these modules too at $240.00 for the pair.

- Coding mods, need to find me a nice cable and learn how to do this. I'm very tech savvy but haven't exactly coded a car before.
- Approx $60.00 - $120.00

- CIC Retrofit
Depending on how crazy you go with this (Combox, 6FL, NAV FSC, Voice Activation FSC etc) $2,500 - $3,000.00

- Maybe a carbon fiber lip or carbon fiber rear diffuser...
Hamann front splitter OEM approx $1,100.00 or aftermarket for approx $350.00- $450.00

The mod game isn't cheap but the rewards are very satifing and the good news is that you'll find all the information you'll ever need right in our forums in terms of how to get it done yourself.

Not to burst your bubble but given your scope of selection above, I'm sure you're gonna wanna do the following also:

- Shadowline Trim
- OEM Gloss-Black kidney Grille
- M5 OEM or Rep Mirrors
- RPI GT Axle-back Exhaust System,
- Sprint Booster V2
- RPI Scoop & BMC Filter
- Interior Xenon Lighting kit
- Instrument cluster white LED mod

Once you get done all the basic mods then we can introduce you to some more advanced performance mods like shocks, brakes, intakes etc etc. It just never ends!!!

....Again, welcome to the forums

Why not just get an LCI E60 if you are going to spend over $2000+ for conversion. I am sure you can snatch a 2008 535 somewhere. The LCI E60 is very rewarding, trust me! I have an LCI E60 and my sister has a Pre-LCI and shes thinking about trading it in.

Get the N54!

Good point. Depending on what you get you could cover off the entire CIC mod also with HD screen, LCI Climate Control etc etc. There's another $3,000.00 right there...

I don't think I'll have the car for more than a week before that sound system goes in...and probably not more than a day for that tint..if thats any indication!

Another reason why I can't get off these forums. Thanks for the info! I knew if you played your cards right you could do the LCI Conversion for around 1500(maybe 1000 if you can manage to sell your old stuff for 500...250 each pair)...just takes some patience.

By the way, you're 100% right about those other mods...they are EXACTLY what I had in mind after Kit/Rims/LCI Retro...I'm just trying to pace myself lol...after all..I don't have the friggin car yet!

Originally I was going to go with a 535i, then later I decided that a 530i might be more gas-friendly and a bit cheaper to purchase. Here's what I have planned:

Sell current car for 7K, use 6K from savings(which ill have around october hopefully sooner) and give 13K as a down payment on a 22-23K 530i (Hoping for 23K after taxes...depends on a lot of factors and where I purchase it from but we'll see), finance 10K over 72 Months and have a car payment of $152ish. Anytime I get a bonus ill just apply it towards the car and i should be able to pay it off in 2 years (Even tho its financed for 5)...

If i do decide to just go with the LCI 535i...obviously im going to be paying upwards of 24-25k+ right? How's the gas on this car compared to the 530i? Any thoughts?
