Hello Everyone,

Recently I've developed quite an interest in purchasing a 06-07 530i in the past month or so. I'm planning to go through with the purchase in a few months (Once my savings account hits 6K or before if I see a car I really like). With that in mind I've been doing a little research to see how much it would cost to get that e60 the way I want it and I just so happened to run into this forum. I must say, I can't seem to stay off of it !

I'm looking forward to learning from all of you and hope I can contribute sometime in the future. In the mean time, here's what I have planned out for the near future:

WTB 06/07 530i (Preferably 07) With Nav/Sport pkg/Silver outside/Blk interior/ 50-60K Miles(Lets see if I can snatch one for 22-24K)

Mods planned at time of purchase:

- Tint < $100

- Aftermarket sound (Aftermarket speakers and going to put a JL 12W7[out of my current car] in the trunk with a custom vented box, Although I need to find out how long the port tubes need to be as I'm going to build this box myself....I don't think this has ever been done on an E60, that is, run the put tubes straight into the rear deck so that the box is venting into the cabin of the car) < $400

- Led License plate lights (Cheap so might as well right?) < $35

Mods planned 2-3 Months after Purchase (With income tax money LOL )

- M-Tech Full Body Kit from Umnitza (Maybe with Projector fogs don't know yet) Painted this should be like $1100 (I got a guy that'll spray for like 200)

- 19" M6 Replica Wheels also from Umnitza (Should be around $1200 with tires and all..again I got another guy for tires)

- Full LCI Bi-xenon Headlight/LCI Taillight Euro Spec Retrofit (Heres where the price might vary a bit...I'm hoping I can pull this off with $1000-$1500..don't know if thats realistic )

- HID Angel Eyes $?

- Coding mods, need to find me a nice cable and learn how to do this. I'm very tech savvy but haven't exactly coded a car before.

Mods Planned for down the line sometime:

- CIC Retrofit

- OEM M6 Wheels (Or maybe something else by then)

- Maybe a carbon fiber lip or carbon fiber rear diffuser...

I don't think I've ever been this excited to spend this much money, but for what its worth I feel that this is something that I won't regret.

Consider this my pre-addiction!

Yah, I am in Socal.

Wow, that's quite a list you've got there already. Most of the pricing you have listed is on the low side, but hey, if you have the hook ups, lol.

Should be able to find a 530i in that price range easily.

Great future mod list - must have done some extensive research. Get ready to shed some cash.

Are you coming from another bimmer?

I've got a friend who works at a stereo shop..therefore I get all Audio/tires/tint//body work and parts at cost (or close to it). Example: my JL 12 W7 that sells for 800 cost me 415 . The head/tailight retro price is what I'm hoping for after I sell the old set and snatch a couple used on eBay..won't be surprised it it does hit close to 2k for that particular mod tho O_O
