Heater not turning off
#1
Hey guys,
Today i got in my car turned it on and after driving to my location i turned the car off and the heater would not turn off. The fan was on as if i had it on full blast, but the heat was blowing from only the foot area. The main vents for the face did not turn on, only when i turned the heater on. I didnt know what to do so i dropped the car off at the dealership and they said that they would disconnect the battery so i wouldnt have a dead battery, and would look at it in the morning. Any ideas to why this happened??
I have a alpine white 2007 530xi.
Thanks
Ron

Hi Ron,
Does the AC system feel like as it would be noun?
If so you have a bad regulator.
The part cost about a buck but the job takes 4 hours.
