So I've been having musty smells in my car for a while now, I could never determine where it was coming from. I ordered some replacement weatherstripping and cowls because they were jacked up. Over the weekend I found my seatbelt in the back seat was moldy. I put my hand behind and felt water. Turns out after taking out the back seat there was freaking water everywhere and the seat had black mold. I have no idea how long its been in there, I don't drive the car much anymore only on the weekend. I couldn't exactly tell what was causing it.
Here are some pics.

In texas we have been getting some serious rain lately so perhaps that made it worse. However this morning I started spraying water on the sunroof and sure enough the freaking headliner started leaking. I thought the seal in the sunroof may have some issues so I had ordered one a few days ago. I'm going to install that. I read that it can be the sunroof drains, which I had honestly never even heard of until I started researching this.
My question is, even after checking the drains which I plan to do in the next few days, how can this leak from that area? Is it most likley disconnected sunroof tubes? Do I need to remove the headliner to check? Its been a complete nightmare having to deal with this so far, for anyone reading this you may want to check your drains and seal as well so it doesn't get this bad. I'm just thankful this didn't happen in the trunk area near wires. I'm not even sure how I'm going to get the mosture all out, maybe a dehumidifier?
