HEADLIGHTS PLEASE HELP!!

I recently bought a bulb for my headlights and tried replacing it wiht my xenon bulbs but aparently these xenons have an igniter on them and wasnt able to take it out. Does anyone know how to take it off or do i have to buy some headlight bulbs with an IGNITER on them?? I have a 2006 550i.
