Question

Has anyone had problems with the adaptive headlights only responding to one side or another?

As I was looking at mine, as I turned the steering wheel to the right, I could definately see them move to the right, and come back when I centered the wheel, but if continued to turn to the left, the headlights would not turn to the left.

I will have the car into the dealer on Monday for the Aux install, but was curious if anyone else has had this problem before I take it in.

When you are parked that is normal. You can't blind oncoming traffic this way. Try it when you drive.

CR, I'm surprised an "old timer" like you didn't know that...

:bashwall:

I knew that. I guess some of the old in Old timer got to me. I wonder if some of my new knowledge is pushing out my old knowledge? Looks like I need to restudy, since I did not pass this test.

Yep, I was driving pretty slow when this happened, and when parked.

I even searched but searched the wrong discussion part.

Thanks Rudy and Iceman for setting me straight, Again.

My headlights do not turn when I park and turn my wheel. Is it very subtle or do I have a problem?

Of course Zaphod, it only works if you have adaptive headlights ...... and I didn't notice that in your signature.

Is it set to Auto or just On? Adaptive headlights will only work when set to Auto.

He's got a 545, which comes w/ the adaptive headlights as standard. Just make sure you're in Auto mode and that the car is moving.
