Hi,

The headlight system will be different in new facelift (LCI) E60/61, at least in EU-market. Inner lights will be only angel eyes, and used as parking lights and daytime running lights together with outer angel eyes, analogue to E92 Coup?. I don?t know, if this change is already effective in cars produced lately, but you can see the functions in the linked video.

Best regards from Finland,

This change was kind of expected and if the E92 coupe has it in the US, I don't see a reason why the LCI E60 shouldn't, don't know why they didn't do this earlier (This is my envy talking). It sure looks cool...

Control of the daytime running lights has changed in the US. My friend got his 2007 530 about a month ago and he can turn them on/off thru Idrive, like in Europe.

Yup!

But I think... avail only for M-ASK equipped cars, so far CCC owner still have to go to the dealer.
