Headlight not Aligned HELP!?

My Ride: 2006 530i Black.

I'm in need of help I'm willing to pay a Reasonable amount to get it done. My friend installed my Angel Eye's in my 06 530i, but when the light was repositioned back it's not aligned. The headlight assembly on the bottom portion of the bracket seems to be flimsy perhaps a bolt or plastic piece has been ripped off? Any help on this?


What I do know is that the bottom bracket that holds the headlight on the bottom is flimsy and when trying to place the headlight back into it something gets jammed and prevents it from fitting securely. I took it to a body shop but, they told me 150.00! for just pulling out the headlight and putting it back in to be sure it fits. We've tried but the bottom bracket seems to not stay in place when putting the headlight back in. PLEASE PLEASE help it's killing me to look at my car.

Try to un-tight the bolt a bit more or even take it out and slide the plastic piece under it, dont be scared to use some force, that exactly what happened to me when i put my angel eye in morning. hope thats help.

This is what happened to me when I had to remove my whole front end. The lights wouldnt align properly. Two things to take notice: No. 1. Is that sometimes the wirings gets wrapped around the nuts and bolts and and restrict the light housing from going back far enough. NO. 2. Is that u need to take the palm of your hand on the front lens part and push in really hard till you line it up THEN screw it in. Hope that hepled.

FOUND YOU PROBLEM!!! IN PICTURE 1, WHERE THE NUT IS SUPPOSED TO SLIDE IN?? IT JUST IS LAYING ON TOP OF THE BOLT. NOT UNDERNEATH AND FASTENED.

UNFASTEN THE BOLT SLIDE THE HEADLIGHT ATTATCHMENT, THEN SCREW IT ON TOP. IT DOES NOT JUST SLIDE IN AND STAYS THEIR.

I thought it was too... but the bracket holding the bottom nut is flimsy and no matter how much i try to push it in... it doesn't go. I'm willing to pay someone to do it because i've tried for over 5 hours to make it work . Maybe if someone else has better knowledge then me on putting on and off headlights this was my first time.

Unscrew it align it with force screw back on and make sure its aligned this happebed to me before

Tried it 3 times more... the bottom bracket just doesn't seem secure... THANKS FOR ALL YOUR INPUTS BY THE WAY.

Take the headlight out put it in again something is blocking its path

I thought i was a hopeless mechanic, it took me at least 50 mins to do one side, the other side 15 though.
