Hi guys
The wiring in my headlight clusters is in a very bad way - lots of insulation off and wires shorting as a result my spots aren’t working.
Is there an easy way to get at the wiring to fix it?
Splitting the headlight is quite a daunting task and question my success.
Any guidance please?
Buying a new set is the best way. What I did when it happened to me was removed them from my car, sat in from of the tv and watched a movie and taped them up one by one. It took me the whole movie (mine where really bad, almost every wire) but I didn't have to remove the cover and it lasted 4 years until my wife got in an accident and had to replace them.
Thank you.
I ended up putting heatshrink on the wires. Was not happy to cut and solder but it should be good. Was quite a mission and only got 1 cluster done.
Problem is the spot lights still don’t work and there is no power on the wire.
I only find a main 50A fuse for the cluster which is fine.
I am looking for a reliable wiring diagram and fuse box layout chart please.
