I think I have to re-install my headlight, cuz I just tried it and it doesn't work, plus my battery is dead, so maybe I'll give another try to it when I'll get a new battery and have everything installed !

Check the fuses, there might be 2 of them.

Also I haven't figured out a pattern of when they are activated... Sometimes you pull the stalk for a long time and they don't spray, sometimes you just quickly pull it and there you go... they mess up the freshly washed car. Might be based on time/km interval... Don't know.

Hey brother.. always check fuses first and then try to test the leads coming into the motors. Sometimes you get a crimped lead. It happens! Let everyone else tell you about the E60 gremlins.
I never noticed if i do or dont have them. I seen on some cars like E65 they are visible. I have both sport and premium package so I would assume I have them but since I buffed my hood and disconnected the washers on my hood for the windshield even they don't work and I've been too lazy to check out why. One day........

Install your new battery, register it and then trace out the problem. I'm sure you'll figure it out.

That's a good idea,, lol, I'll check them tomorrow, if they are all good, maybe is only a fault coming out of the dead battery..

I have a lot of different fault and issues on my car right now, but I'm curious to know about the headlight washers, cuz they never worked since I'm the owner, I didn't even noticed that I have them, I just saw themfew days ago, cuz in the moment I'm changing my body kit for the M5Tech body kit, but to finish the install I need to repair a crack on the front bumper that Umnitza sended me and get the body kit painted, I restored my headlamps, I need to install my new rpi scoop, the new HID fogs 6000k, plus I need to install my hamann replica lip and m5 spoiler once they will be painted.

Others may be able to comment but I believe headlight washers only work every "third" time the wipers are activated (my old 3 worked that way).
An added wrinkle has already been noted; i.e. the headlights must be on.
A weirder wrinkle is that cars with Auto headlights also always turn on once the wipers are activated.

The headlamp washers are operated and pop out driven by fluid pressure from a motor on the windscreen washer bottle. You should have two motors on your washer bottle the larger of the two is the one for the headlamp washers. Maybe you have a defective motor, a disconnected motor or a blocked filter (located on the motor inlet pipe and accessed by pulling out the motor).

If I have my headlights positioned to '0' it won't spray the light washers? My car is Monaco blue and it needs a washing after each time they are activated. It definitely activates every time if you have the lights in position '3'.

VERY interesting...guess it would help if i actually read a page of the owner's manual. I'm very basic and probably do not use half the features in the car. I suppose I just don't care enough. I remember a friend gave me the original iphone from a demo in dubai. it was the 2G and I had it before they were popular and I'm like wtf do i do this this? thank you? hahaha

Correct.
I believe they will NOT spray if in position '0' but will spray in position '3' IF the lights have been activated(its dark) OR the wipers are on (which will automatically activate the headlights on my car only IF they are in '3'. Thoroughly confused?
