Hey guys !

After removing my front bumper, I found that I have headlamp washer unit hide under my bumper,

But I don't know how to make it works and if they work .. cuz they never worked since I have the car, do I need to program something, do I need to change the washer pump, etc

I've read in the owner manual that if there is no water in the windshield water tank and you try to wash windshield and headlamp, this can break the headlamp washer pump...

Anybody have an idea ?

Thanks !

Yes sure, I'l post some pics when I'll get home tonight ...Maybe the previous owner did activate the motor without fluid and he broked my washer pump, but how can I confirm that my pump is dead ? I don't want to buy a new pump for nothing, plus maybe I only need to program the car to make the headlamp washer work,

I'll post some pics later and see what you think guys ! Your help is very appreciate !

I believe the headlight washers are activated if you use the windshield washer with the headlights on. Also, it only activates once every several washes (don't know the number). So, it does not activate every time you wash the windshield with the headlights on.

hey there.. honestly not sure I dont have these on my car i dont think....i haven't really inspected my VO and haven't take the bumper out. I think I would have noticed this when I took lights out several times but didn't. I do have two little secret windows on my bumper below the lights so not sure if they are there. Who knows. Anyway read over the owners manual to see how they work. Then test them out. if they're not working then they're not working!

That info is correct. Just test it out with the help of someone to see.

I would assume if you do it alone there would be water on your headlights as there aren't wipers like the MB. how gaudy.
