For good seafood go to:

Legal Seafoods

or

McCormick & Schmicks

and I will second Smith & Wollensky's....

You don't know what real steak is until you've had a serious piece of USDA Prime.

And don't be a brit and order it well done. Get it medium rare....

So True! Infact I make it a point to check out the electronic stores when in U.K. Wish I could get them in 110V. . Heck I will even take stuff Argos has for sale.

This is VERY true. Not only because of the exchange rate, but because everything in the USA is cheaper than England to begin with. Even imports from England are cheaper in the USA.

For example, I purchase a ton of records from the UK. Your typical record in the UK costs about 6.50 Sterling. I can buy an imported UK record from a distributor in the USA for $6.50. That's like half price.

Another example, I have a mixer which is made by a UK audio company called Allen & Heath. They sell their mixers in the UK for something like 1,200.00 Sterling. I can get the same unit in the USA for $1,000.00

I love this country!

Unfortunatley not yet he hasn't. He has written to the EC requesting permission but I don't believe he has it yet. Knowing the EC as I do, I'm not sure he'll get permission either...
