The other option is to tell your daughter how you had to walk to school in your bare feet over broken glass just to get whipped by the teachers and then coming home and getting cold soup. then mow the lawn and fix the roof and then homework till 4am and then back up at 5am for a breakfast of cold gravel and then off on the 10 mile walk to school.
Maybe then, she will realise that she is lucky enough as she is and can do without having her mind melted by TV in a car.
What kids want is not what kids need. TV's in cars are a lazy way out for the adult and it's not doing the kids any good.
Anyway, I have to go walk 4 miles to the port in the rain and then swim the Irish sea to my office.

you should just go to radio shack and you can buy 2 of them for less then 150$.. they can strap to the back of the headrests.. and you can take them out when you rleaving the car for a while this way you dont have to worry about "thieves" looking to steak those headrests..plus when you go into restaurants or wherever and you want her/kids/etc to be cool and calm.. you can bring the dvd pplayer with you.. just a thought.. gl

If it were my kids, I would tell them to look out the windows and learn something about the world they are about to grow up in.
That's my old fart opinion.
