Oil leak 530i

Oil leak 530i
My 530i has a constant but slow oil leak from the driver side engine pipes, mid to lower section. See attached pics. It appears to be leaking from one or both of these connections. Any helpful comments about this leak are very much appreciated. David

All I see is oil everywhere. If you think you already know where it is coming from then you are way ahead of the game. The oil could be from a number of different places.
The only sure way to proceed is to clean the heck out of the under side of the engine and monitor for fresh oil leaks.

This picture was taken a couple days after I cleaned the engine and this area. I identified this area and this tube connection as the culprit. But what is this connection? It is located on the driver side of the engine, midway down.
