On my way home from work on Friday an early 90's Z28 that was modded up a bit tried to take me. We were on a two lane street that narrows to one after 200-300 yards. It was mid afternoon and almost no other cars around. I heard an engine roar and a tire chirp. I looked to my right and there was this Z28 trying to blow by me, his rear wheel was next to my front wheel before I reacted. I matted the gas, my car launched forward and I blew by him like he was standing still. It was over in 2 seconds. He skulked away after, letting himself drift back in traffic...
