I'm having wierd distortion in the 800hz to 1.2khz range with LOGIC7 turned on in either concert hall or theater.<_< The problem is more evident on music with acoustic piano and tracks with phase problems. So im wondering if its just a fault with the LOGIC 7 dsp's or i have a bad DSP unit, Because the way the dsp's on the logic 7 work is the processer measure phase diffren and phace cancelation to pick what goes in the surrounds very simmaler to Dolby Stereo and Prologic 1&2. If anyone else has noticed this i'd like to hear about it. Thanx

Sorry I don't have this problem, but you lost me at about your 2nd sentence with all the DSP... stuff.

I have the same problem, some music will produce additional sounds, only in hall or theater mode... doesn't bother me that much, still, I've got my car for only 4 days now

The Logic 7 processor is not exactly a high-end one....

I have significant distortion with the processing turned on. I have written about this many times in other threads.

I just live with it. There is nothing you can do, short of turning off the processor.
