I have seen one in the UK.
Got to say, I'm not a fan, it reminds me of a burgundy colour that Volvo use throughout their range. Very pipe-and-slippers if you ask me

The new M5, as reviewed on AOL today, was featured in red. Can't say that it caught anything but my attention. (gone now, but if it returns, I'll post a link)

I took some pictures of an E63 in Chiaretto Red a couple of years ago. I am not a fan of any color that resembles burgundy, however, if I had to buy a car with a color in that family then the Chiaretto is not that bad. It has a yellowish tint in the metallic particles that give the car a slight yellowish look wherever the sun/light hits it. Here are some pictures:

Rody,
Did you get your 5-series at Center BMW?
I got my e46 there. Went back when I was ready to get the e60, but the sales rep who helped me the first time (Walter F.) had left.
I did see this e63 parked out there sometime ago. Must have been 2-3 months ago. The color is certainly striking and probably why they put it right at the corner closest to the street. However, I'm not a fan of burgundy. I've yet to see the Indianapolis Red on the M5 so I'll reserve judgement on it until I see one.
Just an FYI (and a little humor):
Center BMW has a guy named Bruce Le and another named John McClane (main character in the Die Hard movies).

Actually I got my E60 from Century West BMW. The sales advisor that I have bought my 4 previous BMW's from used to be at Pacific BMW, but moved to Century West when I was ready to purchase the E60, that's the only reason that I went to Century West. I have bought a lot of parts form Center BMW though, including my M-Kit.
I took those pictures of the E63 in Nov. 2003, so if you saw one a couple of months ago it should have been another one. I don't like anything close to the Burgundy family either, but Chiaretto is better than others that I have seen. I still would not want it on my car though.
