Have you revved your cars up to the red line?

Yes. Have hit rev limiter in all cars and don't see any reason why not.
7000 revs is nothing.
Their cut off point is very early and they have levt themselves 000s of revs in wiggle room.

That's because his signature image is too wide.
DD, that make the most sense to me, but I will play with different screen rezes.

Thanks sixcard

EDIT: 1280 x 1024 did fix it. But I now have to adjust fonts and screen setting so these eye can read V's profundities now that I can see them!

Hey, V, why not just scrunch down your sig?

Thanks all.

We'd miss out on all the bushes and grass on the left half of the sig if he did that

I guess i'll try that.

Is there a proper manual mode in steptronic? I read in some threads here that you can upshift but the car will downshift for you...

Yep, I love the fact that it downshifts for me.

yup i redline it....just remember to do scheduled maintenance. I over-revved once to 7000 rpm. But it didnt dounce of a limiter. I think it;'s my remap that my redline is raised,

Running the engine at high rpms for considerable period of mine (which I do all the time) will use oil. In less than 8,000 miles, I have had to add two quarts of oil to the engine (hit the "at minimum oil level, add oil ASAP warning" twice). I never keep my car in D. I use DS or manual shifting on my Steptronic.
