Have I got Nav in my E60?
#1
Hi! Just bought a June 2004 E60, awaiting delivery. I had someone do a print out for me on the specs, and there's option 8SA - Country spec release of Navigation. Does that mean I have Nav or no Nav? Car is from Singapore.
I'm thinking it could end up being like phone prep & CD changer prep- means there's no phone or CD changer!
Also how can I tell whether I've got bluetooth?
Disappointing that a car of this caliber doesn't even have cruise control or the front armrest as standard...
Thanks in advance! Cheers!

I think cruise control and arm rest is standard in North American cars...
Can you even use cruise control in Singapore? So much traffic there...

I dont know about your second question, but I do not think your 2004 has bluetooth, I believe it came out late 2004, or a year later. I asked my dealership in the USA if I had it and they said it came out like a year after mine was made (11/03). I think thats what they said. Im definately sure it was after June 2004.
What sort of tax and stuff do you pay in Singapore? Do you have taxes like Hong Kong where you pay an additional 100% (generally) , as a first time registration duty.

In Malaysia we pay upto 193.15% in taxes, plus approx US$15k to some 3rd party private individual for the import permit. The 525 retailed for approx US$120k new in Malaysia.
In Singapore, taxes are currently 128.4% + Certificate of Entitlement (renewable every 10yrs); the COE currently runs for approx US$12k.
