The LCI came out in 2008, so you have a pre-LCI 5 series. As some of the people her mentioned, the common things to notice:
1. There are reflectors on the sides of the front bumper
2. The grill area in the front of the car (below the bumper) and the fog light casing are different
3. The door handle on the inside of the car (on the driver's side) has a handle w/o wood
I can't remember some of the other changes... but you get the idea.

More like light "tubes" -- didn't the pre-LCI cars have something that could be mistake as horizontal "bars?"
How about this question...do you have 8 hard "favorites" buttons below the CD slot that can be programmed with things like a radio preset, a telephone speed dial, etc.?
