My Ride: 2008 E61 525DA, Beige bport leather seats, adaptive bixenons, PDC, NAV Pro, Carbon Black, M-Sport, Head-Up.
Default

After the car has stopped and ignition key removed the cd-changer starts to change cd's....continously for hours. This process goes on until the car has been restarted. Strange or what
Any ideas?

And: Can my cd-changer cope with cd's with MP3 files?

It is an E60 2004 520iA.

Mine occasionally does the same, though its not just the CD-changer - the in dash CD player never restarts from the same point where it was last switched off. This is one of the few gripes I have with my (otherwise perfect!!) E60...

No, the CD changer cannot handle MP3s, only the in-dash CD slot - as far as I am aware.

Not sure if either of these 2 points could be addressed with a software upgrade?

My E60 has just started doing exactly the same, the same time as the doors have started rattling, creaking, cant loctate the noise yet
Any ideas how to cure the 'Haunted 6 disc'?

FOC = free of charge
(if you're in warranty/lucky/on very good terms)

Have you tried some different musical genres music? It seems your e60 doesn't like any of your music.
