well i went ahead and took off my 20's...
both driver side rims are bent
front not bad. back a decent bend but i think both will be repairable.
any ideas on shops? i hear my local bmw dealer has a guy who comes around to do wheel repairs. should i go through my dealer?
or any other recs on the island?

that suck! 
Go back to that place and take a picture call 311 and send all your bills to DOT(Department of Transportation) 311 should specify it.. but take it from me alot of people have told me "whisper" inspectors and plans examiners 
you can probably get two new rims and they'll pay for it =) PM if you need more details

sorry eugene.. the city sucks.. we hit a huge one.. one of those metal potholes in the city.. didnt look that bad, but felt like 2 feet deep.. wish it bent the rim cause then i could at least replace my stock wheel on the insurance.. but it has to lose air.. oh well.. try 311 or at least take pics.. it cant hurt
