My Ride: 2005 545i shadowline
So a few days ago i woke up and went out to my car to find a piece of a brick laying on the roof. and under that brick was a nice dime sized dent and a about a 5cm scratch down to the metal. I dont know why someone would throw a piece of a brick at my car, or how it otherwise would have got there... but im pretty annoyed. I got one quote to fix it 250?. Then yesterday i was out shopping and i always park far away from everyone for this exact reason, well.. the lot was full and it wasnt possible. So i com out of the store to find a new dent and a scratch in my driver side door.... i dont understand why people cant be more careful, i always am, i dont care if its the crappiest car im always aware of my door. Its so damn annoying, now i have to go a few more places tomorrow to see if they will fix the door, the roof and the other two door dings on the passenger side.... im afraid of the cost... auto repair isnt cheap and the exchange rate is killing me.. why cant people just be more careful!!!

I agree but lets all be real here, we have an OCD problem with our cars, that's what makes us "enthusiasts"

I too tried hard to keep my car clean, spotless and ding free but of course leave it to my wife to be the culprit of several dings on both the driver side and passenger side. She took my car to the local market and when she came back, I noticed couple of small door dings on both sides.
This happened awhile back so I learned to ignore it but still bothers me the hell out of me every time I wash my car and see it at an angle.
