Just been reading the Pistonheads test drive on 535d sport. The guy testing the car refers to the active suspension and how 80% of the body roll is eliminated. So does the car have dynamic drive as standard. Its a ?1,550 option on the SE but not available as an option on the sport. Members who own 535d sports, do you think your cars have the system or not?

The thing that IS standard on a 535d (at least in Holland it is) is the servotronic.
I can understand it's a bit confusing though.

The offer of fitting with various optional depends country by country as a marketing strategy.
In my case , in the top offered version including Active steering nav pro 18" etc, i added Dynamic Drive and comfort seats and a lot of other gadget.

AFAIK Dynamic Drive is not available on the UK Sport model.
With the M Sport suspension, I think the rollbars are stiff enough to make dynamic drive redundant.

In Czech and Germany if you take M sport packet, you can not order dynamic drive.

Your comments would make sense!
I have ordered hifi in my next car and currently have the standard system, which isn't bad sound quality wise, it just lacks quality at volume and could do with a little more bass. Have you listened to both and if so is the hifi a lot better. Are you happy with yours?

[/quote]Hi new535,
From all the tests I have read on the sport the handling seems to be spot on and very similar to the 6 series. Must be where some of the extra cash to buy the car goes!
I notice yours isn't ready until May. I've just ordered mine and it comes mid March so wonder what the delay is?
