Is there a way to tell if my battery has ever been replaced? I I am not sure if I am just a victim of my short trips and not driving every day or if I need a new battery. It sounds like with the registering that needs to be done when you replace the battery, there should be a way to tell?

 

There is a date stamped on the battery. Compare that the the build date on the driver's door frame. If they are close or the battery is earlier than the car build date it is the original battery.
