Has anyone moved the position of the CD Changer

I'm just wondering if I should attempt to move the CD changer from the glovebox to the boot area. I know that you can get a DVD player added which fits in the boot over the left wheel arch. Now that seems like a good place to move the CD Changer to because you don't often touch it that much. I can then use the space created in the glovebox to add an aftermarket DVD player.
Has anyone attempted this?

I would like to ADD a 6-CD changer in the trunk (boot). I see the wiring there and it fits my CD changer, but the wire is dead. I may just have located a friendly shop with a computer and will try and see if they can get that wire to be live.
Meantime, anyone?

In the UK we don't get any MOST prep wires hanging in the boot but I thought it would should be possible to do. Maybe the MOST wire is the same as the SAT radio, or DVD or DAB.

I would doubt it. If I recall the topology, it's not only a question of sitting on the bus but how the port is configured.

It's actually easier than you think. For me anything that requires me to open up the dash is tough. The glove to the boot is pretty straight forward or down the side really.

Anyone.
I've also see a part called 61 13 6 931 507 Diagnosis interface most. This is used on the retrofit CD changer, the TV etc and I suppose is the optical fiber that runs to the back of the boot. Has anyone ever done this themselves to tell me something about this part.
