My right Halo is out so I took it by a shop that does mods on all type of vehicles and the tech took a look at the head light and advised me that it did not have a bulb but it would need a complete set of Halo ring or a complete head light assembly with a hefty price.

.

This does not sound right can any with experience on this tell me different?
I have a 2004 530i with HID lights.
