Default GS6-37BZ and GS6-37DZ Difference?

Is there any difference between the GS6-37BZ and GS6-37DZ. I have a 530i that is far too difficult for me to repair. If a miracle happens and somehow I get to keep it (I live in a travel trailer park and we’re not allowed to keep or work on vehicles that are inoperable), I’ve seen the GM LS V8 swap done with a kit and also the Toyota 2JZ used for the E60 chassis. PMC sells the adapters for various BMW transmissions. I wanted to ask the above question to get y’all’s opinions about how difficult it is to go from the GA6HP19Z transmission to any of the BMW manual transmissions. sure, you can just use any transmission however, using something that has a factory driveshaft as much better than trying to adapt something and retrofit it. Yes, I know what I’m talking about. So, are those two manual transmission the same? Has the letter B and the other has the letter D, but they should be basically the same. I assume one might’ve been used for the diesel - but I thought the diesel had the transmission GS6-53DZ. I’ll upload a picture from the Bentley manual when I get some time. it is quite sad that these cars are so difficult to fix and have so many problems at age because they are perfect when brand new but they just don’t last like the 1990s Toyota or other things. Even some of the old Corvettes see and be cheaper to repair more than these.
But, if it wasn’t for the expense, there probably wouldn’t be a better vehicle because making 250 hp with 26 MPG is truly an unbelievable feat of engineering and computing. Sorry there’s so many typos in this. It’s amazing that the car was 50,000 brand new, I paid 5000, and now it’s basically worth 500. God bless and have a good day
