grill removal

My Ride: BMW 525
hi, quick question. are you required to remove the bumper to get the grill off? i can undo the 2 clips on the bottom by sticking my finger or a pick in there, but i'm not sure what holds it on top. thanks

no need to remove the bumper. there are 8 clips, 3 up, 3 down and 1 on each side
