The 6-CD-changer is in-dash... The glove box is part of the dash, isn't it?

Forgive my ignorance here guys, but if there is a 6 CD changer in the glove box...If you choose NAV as an option what is the CD slot above the NAV DVD slot in the dash? I guess its for a 7th CD?

Good thing these cars drive so friggin' unbelievably or they'd never sell a single car...

Uh, not really Iceman. In dash CD changer generally means that the magazine is behind the CD player. You eject and load all 6 CDs from the one slot on the dash.

Just in your logic, not in BMW engineers logic...

Seriously, they play such stupid games with the words here. Like: The pro radio has a MP3 decoder... Decoder just means it can read MP3's, doesn't mean it can give any of it out on the speakers...
For you and everybody here on the forum "in-dash" means center console. But not for the BMW engineers... For them it means, it's in reach and you don't need to leave the drivers seat and walk to the trunk...

Hi Guys,

I'm new to the BMW way of doing things and am greatful for the picture gallery on this site. However, I am trying to find our what my chosen combination of Titanium Silver/ Grey Dakota/ Light poplar will look like.

I have found a car at a local dealer with grey dakota and dark poplar but would like to know if anyone here has a picture, or link to a resource, where I can see grey with light poplar?

Here's hoping as I will kick myself if I don't like it and have to live with it for 3 years.

Best regards
Andy - UK?
