Hi guys,

ive had my e60 or about 2 years now and it had its last service / iDrive update about a 6 months ago.

In the past few months a few very strange things have happened. Pretty much in chonological order...

1) The rain sensor wouldnt turn on. The light on the stalk was on but no action. Everything was fine once i turned the car off/ket out and then restarted
2) The Navigation system couldnt read the disk, and the disk wouldnt eject (im guessing no power to the dvd drive). again fine after a restart
3) The car wouldnt un-mute. neither the diamond steering wheel control set to un/mute or the dash board volume button when pressed worked. fine after a restart

and then today...

4) the rear park sensor beeps were permanently on. neither turning the parking sensors on or off or getting really close to the object behind changed this. and for the first time, turning car off and even key out of ignition didnt stop the beeping! (they finally stopped after about 5 mins taking key out)

im getting a bit worried as to what might be next!

does anyone have any ideas as to what might to wrong or things i could try to maybe reset the cars computer/iDrive. There arent any message in the iDrive/Info Sources/Control Messages. are there any other error messages i could get to which might give some clues?
