I ordered grey leather interior after looking through the 5-series brochure because it appeared to be really dark. I know, I should have seen one in person before ordering, but my dealer didn't have any.

Does this picture accurate represent the gray leather interior? I'm hoping this picture is making the leather appear lighter than it really is because of the flash or something.

Pic never an tell the real color, feel of any kind of stuff. I remember it is perfect and not as light as in the photo, it is flash, but true it is light color. But nice...1st we wanted Tit Silv and I luved the grey it is so HIGH class but than we went w jet black- I am so happy - so grey comfort seats became auburn
I heared that grey when wears out will be white, if you take care of it normally it will stay ok, but difficut to judge on the long run IMHO beautiful so if you like it is you BMW and an E60.

I had grey in my E39 and it was that light, it also seemed to pick up all the grime really easily, far worse then the beige we had in the E46, a friend has the grey in his e46 and he says the same thing too.

The brochure we have for the touring makes it look nearer charcoal for some reason, which it is not at all.

More pics from the information section.....

My brother had an E36 M3, and he got the gray interior.

On that car, the gray was so light.... you could have called it white interior.

It picked up grime and sweat, oils, etc... so badly that it eventually looked nasty.... and there was NO way to clean it.

Needless to say, I will avoid light gray interiors like the plague.

I have grey and I love it. I have my kid in the car all the time and its very easy to clean and even after 1 1/2 years looks like new.
Tjhe only thing that gets really dirty are the grey floormats.

I'd say the grey in the pics looks just like the shade in mine. I really like it because it lightens up the inside of the car. I haven't picked up any grime but I'm usually in business clothes and I have seat covers in the back where my kids car seats are. One thing I do have but haven't taken time to see how hard to clean yet is shoe scuff marks on the lower door panel...I'm sure they'll come off with some cleaner.

Nice car, thats the same combo that I have on order. I can't stand black interior myself, its hot in the summer and the dark color hides all the detail of the interior.

Adam, is your bmw dealer really small? How the heck is it that he doesn't have one car of any type that has Gray interior. Unbelievable!!! I couldn't find a car with the Maple wood, but it seems my dealer won't spec a car with maple wood for some reason.
