Don't know too much about these tires -- I have had the less agressive Dunlop Winter Sport M3's on my E60 and previously on an E46 and been happy with the trade off between snow and dry performance. There are always trade offs, so unless you are somewhere the roads stay snow or ice covered most of the winter, the Graspics may shift more toward winter traction than you need.
My concern would be putting the 245's both front and rear with staggered wheels. They will fit OK (wheel width range from 8.0 to 9.5"), but I would be afraid the rears would look funny compared to the fronts of the same size on more narrow rims. Tire pressure monitor will not be an issue with your OE wheels.
I would suggest getting another set of wheels that are not staggered. Then you can leave them mounted and switch out more easily when the seasons change.

Thanks for the response JPJ. Im in Toronto not too far from Detroit and drive to work so there will be days where the roads are snow covered and I would think it maybe good to have the extra value of traction.
The width of the rim can only be noticed from the back of the car so I'm not sure you would notice anything especially cause my 545i sits very low already but I do understand your concern. The side profile I would think would look pretty normal unless there is something I am not considering???

Not sure where you are looking to purchase but I just bought 4 of these through Tirerack.com at $115 each. A great price for 18" 245's. Having them installed on Monday, I went with 245 all around on generic 18" alloys.
