Got this while resetting idrive service

I went to go reset my rear brake milage and it reset it to -15,000 and says my pads need servicing

now this message stays on
Any help would be great

you held the odometer button too long.
no worry though, it takes you to the hidden menu. it should reset if you turn the ignition off.
check out the file i attached.

yeah the message went away YAY, but the brake light still on.
I followed these instructions http://forums.5serie...ve/page__st__15 and https://5series.net/forums/topic/509...age__hl__15000,, but still didnt work. My sensor was fine and was reading 6,000 miles before I did the reset

might sound silly, but i'm trying to reset it but i can't seem to get it to work, can anyone post a video or explain the DIY one more time. thanks
