I love the car. This is my 4th BMW, and first 5 series.
I do have a couple of questions:
1. I don't have the BMW usb cable. I do have a separate iphone USB cable, and an auxiliary cable. I plugged both into their respectivee places in the armrest area, and in the iphone. I could get sound out of the ipod through the car speakers, but it did not register the ipod contents inthe idrive. Do I need the BMW specific cable? if not, how can I get the iDrive to recognize the contents of the ipod in my iphone to show in the car display?
2. I want to get an M style lip spoiler for the trunk. Do you recommend a place to get one from? ebay? other place?
any help would be appreciated.

It's easy. The anthracite headliner is one of three "Priority One" options that you can order from the factory.
The other two are perforated leather and ventilated seats. You must order the perforated leather to get the ventilated seats.
There are E60s in dealer sock with these options (without the need for a special order). When I was looking at dealer inventories in March when I got my 550, I found a titanium silver 550i Sport in Maryland with all three priority one options. However, I went with my Carbon Black 550i Sport without those priority one options from Cicrle BMW in Eatontown NJ because it was a great deal and I did not want to pay $3,000 for the peforated leather and ventiated seats combo.
