Stone chips will make your painted grilles look ghetto in a few months... I left mine unpainted, they look awesome on my dark blue car.

I'll watch out for that. I don't often encounter stone chips really though. The roads are fantastic round here. I still have 90% of the paint left, so if they go ghetto on me, a quick 30 seconds with sandpaper and a quick blast from the spray can and they should be looking as good as new

A lot of people leve them as is....otherwise why not sand down your existing ones? I have a Titanium Silver...put them on no paint I love the look. Im not a fan of the color matched grille.
