Well i got my car back and they preformed some service on it including an oil change but my issue is Idrive is telling me engine oil level is to high... is that something i should be concerned about?

Also my car feels a little slower... it could be because they gave me a 335i as a loaner?? the 550i used to feel like a beast compared to my 540i but now im kind of upset...

I wonder if resetting the transmission adaptation would help. It basically pressing the gas pedal all the way down, insert the FOB, Do not press on the brake and push the start button, keep pressing on the gas pedal for 20-30 seconds. Something easy to try, it's cheaper that trading in for 335i

Ummm ya.. I would be. why dont you physically check it with the dip stick. Open the hood and look for a black dip stick on the top right of the engine. (*drivers side*)

You should! Too high a level of oil may seriously damage your engine!
If the car tells you something is wrong, take it seriously. Even though 9 out of 10 times it will turn out to be a sensor issue, but that's what they are there for.

My 2006 550 always read too high on the oil until the software was updated to V25 a few months back - now it's accurate. Do you know which version you are running?
