Congratulations!

I'll have to wait another month for mine so I can imagine you're happy to have it! Mine will be Tiefseeblau as well but with a different interior color. Your dash looks very good. Maybe you could post a picture of the seats in contrast with the blue outside. I'm curious what it looks like.

I wish you lots of fun with your new car

Thank you everybody :-)

I'll try to put more photos later.

The light has an important effect on how the colors looks, when I took the car at the garage, they had the same lights that are in supermarket on top of vegetables, you know the one that make tomatoes looks even more red, and I had the impression that the blue had some purple reflect, was strange to me.

nuenen: same feeling than you I don't know Vianden, I have to visit this area ! I live close to Echternach so could be soon.

I'll check EU Meeting and let you know.

I'll let you know for the mpg too, as it's one of my priority too :-)

Hi,

I finally got my BMW 520d tonight.

TiefSeeBlau and Dakota Gray inside.

The aluminium doesn't looks very good on the photo, but in real life I'm very happy with it
Yes, my 520d has the same interior trim and colour as yours and it looks a lot nicer "In the flesh" than in the pictures. It was a big departure for me as, apart from a Volvo S80 mistake, my cars have typically had black interiors with wood trim. The grey and aluminium (that's aluminum to our friends in the colonies.. ) has a very modern, light, high tech European feel to it and the car seems even roomier to sit in, particularly in the back.

This is my first diesel and I'm generally happy with the performance when I'm on the move but I find it a wee bit sluggish at the lights. Mind you, it's also the first manual I've had for a long time, so maybe I'm just crap at slipping the clutch! Fuel economy is awesome for a car this size and I always beat my colleagues Prius for mpg if there is any amount of motorway driving involved.

Anyway - enjoy.
