MADE YOU LOOK, AHAHAHAHAHA. Actually I cannot believe that they are the same model car. The new one just feels tighter and better handling. Maybe it's the comfort seats, which I didn't have last time. or the chunkier steering wheel or the sport auto or the better sounding exhaust. Whatever it is I FRIGGING LOVE IT!! Not to mention that the 12,360 songs I have in my iPod sound great even though I really have only listened to Zeppelin so far. Anyway, I will try to post some pictures soon. Having the spoiler mounted Tuesday. Had the V1 hard wired today and getting the dustless pads installed in the morning. Kind of funny that I forgot how filthy the rims get without them. I have about 60 miles on the car and already they're getting dirty.

My regular guy is away so I took it to Stereo Station in Lodi, NJ. It took him all of 15 minutes and cost $50. Had it installed to the left of the rear view mirror like always. The only problem is that he could not find anywhere to tap in where the unit would shut off with the car so I have to remember to shut it off manually. Just wondering if it would draw enough power to drain the battery if I accidentally left it on.

It's an easy DIY for the V1. Takes maybe 10 minutes. There's a good DIY on the forum. You splice the correct wire in the courtesy lights and you're done. It's that simple.

Jeff - Congrats on the car!

Seems unlikely as long as you are not away for too long. That is, unless a cop knows you have it points his gun at your car and pulls the trigger and leaves it on while you away. I'd be more worried about thieves seeing the lights.
