got lost on the way to NYC - was following the directions from Yahoo - said get off at exit 16E - so i Passed exit 16 - diod not see E and then when I got to exit 17 I turned around - no idea where I was - so I called the concierge - she gave me directions - turns out the exits go 16 then 17 then 16E - who knew?
Anyway have noit subscribed to the service, but she helped me anyway - The first ting I am going to to in the AM is get the service - was pretty cool

Haha. And how was driving following the breakin recommendations and how many miles did you knock out. And did your wife tell you that you should have flown.
Did you dare valet your car?
Edit: Oops, I saw your other post where you answered these questions. Sorry I can't answer any of your questions.

From the NJ Turnpike I assume....did you have to pay toll twice? And don't you just love all the tolls and parking garage fees.........

The first one is for free and the rest are $5.00 each if I'm not mistaking?

tolls aren't that bad
usually drive to chicago and the tolls there are worse and more frequent
The drive was awesome.

On the NJ turnpike you only pay one toll. Its the parkway your talking about, but there are no trucks allowed(makes it worth it) Garage fees are for parking, I think you pay that everywhere.

You are correct. For emergencies though, $5 isn't much to pay.

wait, if you subscribe to the conceirge service you still have to pay fees? The BMW assist in $20/month (free the first year) - and the conceirge is an additional $10/month - at least that's what my dealer told me - but you have to pay if you use them? Or do you just pay if you don't have the service?
Anyway - prices in NY were not that bad - $26 to park overnight (with a hotel room)
And - I know if U had the Nav I would not have gotten lost - but thi is the only time I would have used it and $1800 was to steep for me ( among other reasons - like true "Nav" guys say get aftermarket becasue more functions and work better)
but I do wish I would have gotten it becasue then it would have given me something to play with while my wife was driving - though I did play with the i drive and learned every function -
with my wife saying "what are you doing now" -
and me saying look this is cool -
and her staring at me like I'm a geek
