Said "Your BMW Dealer is offering ~ Four Wheel Alignment ~ for $199.995". How regularly does the 530 2006 Bimmer need Alignment?
...
And does the CPO if under 50,000 miles cover it? I have 42,000. Thanks Just knowing helps make the driving experience even greater!

Wheel alignments are not covered under maintenance or CPO contracts. IMHO A RWD BMW can be handled by any good alignment shop (That means NOT JIFFY LUBE!!). $200 is way too pricey unless you have active steering or AWD. If your tires are wearing evenly and your car doesn't pull your alignment is probably OK.

Thanks! Its that kind of reassurance that makes driving the 5er even better. I am truely amazed how well BMW thinks things out. Dan

Where are you located? Which dealership was that?
I wonder if other dealerships are offering similar deals.

I live Canada and my dealer charged me $135 for my alignment and I have active steering, so $200US I don't think is a good deal at all for a alignment. Although it seems that most of the dealer quotes I've seen on this forum from American dealers all seem to be more then what my dealer has been charging maybe labour rates are just a lot higher down there?

Bear in mind this is a 530 XI All wheel alignment.

Thanks for the info. The last time I checked with my dealer the price was $300 for an alignment for my car which has Active Steering.
