Default Got a good scare today

I decided to clean the engine bay today since It was pretty nasty, i tried covering most of the electrical stuff before spraying some scrubbing bubbles, and after about 3 minutes rinsed everything with water with a hose, no pressure.. dried everything and went to turn the car on and, wait for it ... i had all kinds of errors and it would take like 5 seconds for the car to start, as in a bad starter, tranny malfunction, steering wheel locked bla bla .. i think my heart stopped for a min. BUT after some praying and about 15 mintues later i guess everything dried up and all the errors went away but the service engine light, so I went ahead and disconnected the battery for a few mins to reset the computer and she was back on her feet like new.

Just thought I would post this to warn you gents, be very careful when cleaning the engine bay.

Happy with how clean the engine looks now though..

Water may have gotten in to this (look at the picture below)...

If I were you, I'd open that box and let it dry completely.

Water can corrode connectors and can result in intermittent issues - very difficult to diagnose.
