KMSLO - whoa these are great pics and your car looks fabulous!! I so wish I could have my 550 on those beautiful hills - you west coasters have it made.

How many miles you put on yours? I've got 850 and only really had two great long rides. already waxed twice, wash at least once a week. Very hard to keep pollen off Monaco Blue but worth it.

I'm still obsessed, and get all sorts of flack at home. Worth it, isn't it.

Cheers.
wmb.......I'm at about the same mileage as you......just under 900. The pollen is bad here too....but I wash every weekend, and during the week, I use the California duster to keep the pollen and dust at a minimum. The Ti-gray, being dark, is hard to keep clean as well, but looks great when it is. I actually enjoy washing my cars, so every Saturday morning I'm out washing......I've got 5 vehicles, so on any given weekend....at least 3 of them are getting washed!! My bimmer gets special treatment though And.....my family and neighbors all think I'm nuts......although, my family gets clean cars out of my obsession....so they don't complain too much!

I'm in between polishing and waxing right now......I think for my post-wax pics I'll use the Pacific Ocean as my backdrop.....that will be for the midwesters who can't appreciate large bodies of water!!

OK....back to "wax on, wax off....."

I've got the California Duster as well, works great.

Have you tried the Sonus detailer spray between washes? Its basically for light dirt and water marks. You spray on and wipe off, doesn't take off wax and leaves very clean car - just washed look and shiny. Need to use microfiber towel so as to not leave scratches but works really really well. I have bottle in my car and use it alot between washes. Life saver.

Here is a link. I use the Sonus stuff but all do same thing. Seriously I am addicted, any water spots, dist, drect at all I zap and wipe off. My car looks exactly like it did the day I took it off the lot. I don't know how I lived without this stuff.

When I saw those pics, I was like, this looks fimiliar! You're near Camp Roberts, Paso Robles! My friend has a Z4 and took me touring through those hills and the wine country. Red wine and a Z4 don't mix! Great pics.

how funny you mention Camp Roberts....I was just up there this week, as I have a couple of jobs on the base right now........and Paso does have some great landscape through wine country....but.....it's best traveled, if you are indulging, with a limo!!

These pics are actually the hills surrounding the City of San Luis Obispo, 35 miles south of Paso. They separate the City of SLO from the Pacific Ocean! I think, if you look real close, in one of the pictures I took you can see a bit northwest to the coast at Morro Bay

Small world, eh? When were you in Paso?
