Michelin's are superior in wear!
I'm personally going for Potenzas
According to EU tests they are the best overall.
I'm talking about the size 245/40 18"
My main interest are in order:
- not tendy to tramline
- no noice
- good on wet roads

iu think they are all great in conditions but the wear and tear on these are horrible, they won't last long.

Tire rack beats Costco and Sams Club. Thanks for reminding me to check them all.
I think they will all match prices.

Be sure to compare FINAL installed, lifetime rebalancing, road hazard insured, prices. When I last checked, Costco beat everyone.
Thanks,
My nephew works for Discount tire, so I get free balancing and rotation. And they beat everyones pricing.

I have the Michelin P2s on my Jag XJR and the Bridgstones on my C2 Porsche. They are both great tires. No experience with the Goodyears. I think that the Car and Drive test mentioned earlier in the thread, takes price into comparison in comming up with their point totals to determine a "winner" and the Michlens would be higher rated based on performance if the cost compnant was taken out of the mix. In any event, I am sure that you will be happy with either the mich or the bridg

I like the agressive V tread pattern on the Goodyear F1. It also has a slightly raised bead or rim protector that just might prevent some curb rash on your 166s. Mine sits in the garage for weeks at a time and I noticed that the tires develop a flat spot that goes away after a few miles of zig zagging and heating them.

Changed from GS-D3's to PS2's a couple of months ago.
Goodyears are VERY good in the wet but I was unhappy with the wear rate (19,600 to get them all down to 2.3mm with a front to rear swap)
PS2's are sharper on turn in & slightly quieter on the road mpg also improved by 3mpg when the Goodyears were taken off.
