My Ride: 02" Porsche Carrera 911
I've had my E60 for 3 years exactly..loved the car, did some great mods to it, it was a very special car as the interior combo was rare + its a 6 Speed manual..will definitely miss it But for the past 2 months i've had this bug about buying a Porsche Carerra 911- specially now you can pick up a 2002-2004 for a good price..I miss the BMW's luxury but wanted the ruggid DRIVE of Porsche..for sure if i ever go back to a 4 Door car, God willing it will be a BMW & i think an M5!
it was a very tough search..i've already started the mods by putting a Cold Air intake + getting the radio surround painted silver to match rest of interior!Car already had wheels (which i dont like the polished lip on-)
Thank God the search is over, the conclusion was great & i got much more than what i was looking for
I began my search about 2 months ago- i literally became obsessed with buying a Porsche 911- was up all hours of the night searching craigslist, ebay, auto trader & Manheim..had a couple of close deals, even flew to L.A from AZ before getting a car checked *too excited jumped the gun* and the car had issues..
Finally i found a 2002 with every single record, only 38,000 miles, treated like a baby, with almost evey option available on it + Nice wheels & a warranty until 5.11 from a private owner in San Fran, i got it PPi'd first and came out PERFECT then i flew to San Fran and had a great drive back to AZ.
This car was for sale i guess here on 6speed 2 years ago but he never sold it, he just kept it, & babied it, the car still looks brand new...THANK GOD-it had almost all mods i would have had to spend money on already done..all i've done is i just bought the K&N Cold Air intake & got it installed at vivid racing yesterday....sounds amazing after 4,000 RPM.. + Removed the Cassette tape holders & replaced with Cubby hole..
Here ofcourse are some photos *say God Bless plz* lol..The photos by the way were from the ad the owner had posted 2 years ago on 6speed- the car looks the exact same, he only drove 8,000 miles in the past 2 years.
The only extra mods i think i may do are getting the Silver radio surround, ipod connecter (can't figure this one out yet, if its a cable or what) & maybe hte Turbo Front bumper + Powder Coat Wheels flat black with Gloss black lip
****Couple of pics, first the E60 ***

Congratulations. I don't blame you at all. Those 911s are gorgeous. If money were no object I would own a 997.2 Turbo or any other of the most recent reiteration. Porsches are just awesome cars and pretty durable too .

Yes isiah, 99-2001 had some issues- plus ugly headlights like the boxter....the 02 they did a facelift installing the turbo headlights xenon- + added 20 more HP and a better suspension, ect...i bought the car with only 38,000 miles so she's just getting broken in
