For sure let us know what you think of the M vs the 545i. I still miss my E46 M3 but don't think I could live with it as a daily driver, that was on high strung car... I have read the E90 is much more flexible for daily use especially with the adjustable suspension and DCT while still being able to put that M smile on your face.

Congrats. I pondered the same decision (on more than 1 occasion) but need (and like) the room in the 5 series a bit more.
