I was gonna buy a E90 M3 6Speed. But there was none close enough for dealership swap at my time of purchase.
Most E90 are DCT.

For sure let us know what you think of the M vs the 545i. I still miss my E46 M3 but don't think I could live with it as a daily driver, that was on high strung car... I have read the E90 is much more flexible for daily use especially with the adjustable suspension and DCT while still being able to put that M smile on your face.

Congrats. I pondered the same decision (on more than 1 occasion) but need (and like) the room in the 5 series a bit more.

The M3 is definitely an awesome car. Enjoy!
