That's OK...the 550 club isn't an exclusive club, we even hang with people driving Lexus's!!

Ya? what a crazy bunch. I wouldnt.

Thanks for the comments! The 550i is a rare thing in Adelaide. Including mine, there's only two over here. I wish I was back home now to take delivery of it.

The car had the M-kit fitted after market and the previous owner installed H&R(??) springs when he lowered it. The handling of the 550i around the bends was a lot better than the 540i. I'm losing the Pro Logic 7 sound, but the 45kW engine power gain kinda makes up for it Am also losing the rear side window blinds but cest la vie.. I'll need to change the steering to the M-sport steering wheel but that can come later.

Just noticed the pic didn't come up so here's the second try..

Hey Leburpor, your black 550i in the picture is lowered on H&R sport springs? It looks nearly indentical to my factory sport suspension! HHmmmmmmmm

That's what the seller told me. I wouldn't know H&R springs from any other springs, even if I knew how to check. I also have no reason to doubt him. I can take a pic of the 550i next to my 540i M-sport for better comparison, when I get back from my holidays. In real life, the 550i looks slightly lower than my 540i M-sport.

The pic shows the 550i with the M5 wheels (with different tyres due to rubbing) but I will be putting my 172's on there and selling my 540i with the OEM 18's with RFTs. Didn't want to pay extra for the M5 wheels. Can't wait!!

Here is what your 550i with H&R Sport springs should look like. The Titanium Silver 550i is brian1225 and the Titanium Gray 545i is mine. Both have H&R Sport springs.

As I do not know much about 'springs', are H&R's any good?
